The Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits wines have a dark robe and an aroma of fresh fruit when the wine is young. During the ageing process, a candied fruit and later animal aroma appear gradually as the wine evolves. The taste is firm and enhanced by good sour notes and the tannins are present.
