GROWING AREA:
All of the Maranges Premier Cru production is conducted in the South of the Côte d’Or area on calcareous land with South/South-East exposure.

6,000 bottles per year.
TASTING NOTES:
The Maranges Premier Cru is a potent wine. Always high in colour, it expresses aromas of berries and underbrush; a trace of pelt odour appears upon maturing. Its tannin is strengthened by a sound mellowness offering an ample, firm-bodied wine.
RECOMMENDED DISHES:
It is particularly well-suited for accompanying a roast Bresse chicken and soft cheeses with a few weeks of ripening, such as a Cîteaux or Camembert.
